More about Sue

Sue's Story

Sue had suffered with lower back pain for many years and had experienced great relief from osteopathic treatment. However, it was when she was introduced to the Technique she realised that because she was reverting to habitual ways of everyday movement between visits, the benefits of treatment were not long term.

After attending courses, lessons and workshops in the Technique, Sue made the decision to undertake the three year training course to teach the Technique. She attended the Essex Alexander School in Ilford and qualified as a full member of the Society of Teachers of the Alexander Technique (STAT) in 2003 and has been teaching full time ever since.

Sue's previous career was in sales and marketing and she is well aware of the detrimental effects stress and business pressures can have on our physical well being. She is passionate about being able to help other people realise how we can minimise the aches and pains we believe are inevitable and learn to work with our body rather than against it.
