The Alexander Technique

Alexander Technique Introductory Course

The next series of courses will take place during 2012

This three week course offers an introduction to the basics of the Technique so that everyday activities become easier and can be carried out with less effort.

The Course will be small and informal, interactive and participative.

A fundamental of the Technique is the release of tension, so the course is designed to be enjoyable and relaxed.

The Technique is particularly helpful in understanding the postural causes of a painful neck, tension headaches, lower back discomfort and hip and knee misalignment.

No special clothing is required, just that in which you feel comfortable, and trousers rather than a skirt are preferable for ladies.

The course is run by Sue Lusher a fully qualified AT teacher who has successfully completed the required three year training course and is a full member of The Society of Teachers of the Alexander Technique (STAT).
